Abstract

FEPET, Inc. has developed a Carbon Nanotube (CNT) cold-cathode material. It has demonstrated the use as an electron beam source in configurations that include both single-beam and arrays of beams. This document reviews the feasibility of development of aCNT-based microwave power amplifier array element and proposes fabricating two elements of a Printed TWT device to demonstrate the viability of this approach.
