Abstract

We will evaluate the feasibility of using artificial intelligence software to assist in the identification and prosecution of health care fraud and abuse. Phase I includes the selection of three fraud and abHome Health Agencies, identifying the indicators prevalent in Home Health Care Agencies, identifying associated with these schemes, and developing a prototype expert system assisting a wide range of Research Institutes, National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA)National Institutes of Health National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID)National Institutes of Health National Institute of Arthritis, National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute (NC National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Child Health, National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication (NIDCD), National Institutes of Health National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), National Institutes of Health.
