Abstract

Novel materials will be needed to help all programs within the DoD. The objective of this Phase I is to demonstrate multi-functional composites that are low cost and lightweight for multiple applications. Phase I will be about fabrication and characterization of the lightweight materials. APS has many Phase I supporters to aid transition the mew materials to Phase II. Phase II will continue the testing and characterization of these materials.
