Abstract
This effort proposes to design, develop and fabricate prototype SiGe MMICs that when combined with GaN MMICs forms the basis for additional simultaneous modes and more efficiency for the C-band Radar Automatic Collision Avoidance System (RACAS). The addition of these MMICs will enable digitally controlled pulse mode interleaving and switchable and simultaneous polarizations for enhanced Coherent Airborne Detection and Discrimination (CADD) performance. Additionally, RACAS AESA costs for the additional modes will become insignificant thus leading to a common and scalable RACAS design used in Sense And Avoid (SAA) and/or CADD configurations.z
