Abstract

A coupled CEM and CFD modeling is proposed for prediction of antenna performance in plasma environment with particular application to reentry vehicles. The degree of coupling between the fluid dynamics and the electromagnetics will be investigated as well as identification of the parameters that relate the two modeling processes. End product is a hybrid computational tool with a complete GUI that allows the user to design and predict the performance of antennas on missile reentry vehicles.
