THE FEASIBILITY STUDY WILL BE IN EIGHT ELEMENTS WITH ELEMENT 1 BEING AN ANALYSIS OF CURRENT TRANSPORTATON PLANNING AND ENGINEERING SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE USE. DESIGN-COMPUTERS WILL BE IDENTIFIED IN THIS ELEMENT. IN ELEMENT 2, AN ANALYSIS OF DATA INPUT OPTIONS AND THEIR IMPLICATIONS FOR THE SOFTWARE AND DESIGN-COMPUTER HARDWARE IDENTIFIED WILL BE COMPLETED. THE REQUIREMENTS TO ACCOMODATE AUTOMATIC VEHICLE COUNTS, MANUAL COUNTS AND INTERVIEWS WILL BE IDENTIFIED. COMPATIBILITY REQUIREMENTS OF THE ITE'S TRIP GENERATION DATABASE WILL BE EVALUATED IN ELEMENT 3. POTENTIAL REFINEMENTS AND ADJUSTMENTS TO THE ITE'S STATISTICAL ANALYSIS WILL BE IDENTIFIED IN ELEMENT 4, AS WELL AS THE STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OPTIONS OF THE SOFTWARE IDENTIFIED IN ELEMENT 1. SEVERAL REGRESSION ANALYSIS MODELS WILL BE USED TO TEST THE SOFTWARE TESTED TO BE A PLATFORM. THE ABILITY OF THE SOFTWARE UNDER REVIEW WILL BE IDENTIFIED IN ELEMENT 5. THE EVALUATION WILL DEPEND ON ASTM AND AASHTO DATA COLLECTION STANDARDS. ELEMENT 6 IS THE ANALAYSIS OF HARDWARE CONNECTIVITY OPTIONS FOR DATA TRANSMISSION. POTENTIAL OF USING THE SOFTWARE FOR IMPACT ANALYSES WILL BE REVIEWED IN ELEMENTS 7 AND 8.
