FUZING DEVICE ENERGY STORAGE REQUIREMENTS HAVE EXCEEDED THE ENERGY DENSITIES AVAILABLE IN CURRENT CAPACITOR TECHNOLOGY. OPERATING REQUIREMENTS ALSO ULTIMATELY DESIRED INCLUDE THE CAPABILITY TO HOLD CHARGE FOR THREE DAYS AND ENDURE 220 DEG F. PRI PROPOSES THE CONCEPT OF A SOLID-STATE DOUBLE LAYER CAPACITOR WHICH COULD OPERATE NEAR 200 DEG C, PRESERVE CHARGE, AND BE IMPACT RESISTANT. DOUBLE LAYER CAPACITANCE DENSITIES ARE TO BE EXPECTED.
