Abstract

The Army uses MUVES-2 for the modeling and simulation of combat system vulnerability, and requires the ability to rapidly assess effects of damage to vehicle structures. This SBIR focuses on modeling damage to combat vehicle structures and the resulting effects on vehicle capabilities. SURVICE Engineering has developed a functional prototype hybrid analytical model that can rapidly produce accurate analytical estimates of the effects of damage to combat system loss of capability. This preliminary research will lead to the development of a fully-functional evaluation module suitable for production analyses under the Phase II effort.
