Abstract

The magnitude and dynamic range of data being generated by the NIDA MALDI-IM-o-TOFMS molecular imaging spectrometer demands a new approach to bioinfomatics. We are now able to record the spatial location of most molecules on the surface of bio-sample and are attempting to develop techniques which would yield depth profiles into tissues or the interior of single cells.
