Abstract

Cornerstone Research Group, Inc (CRG), proposes to develop an anti-tamper system that uses a diffusion mechanism to destroy a semi-conductor component upon tamper detection. CRG will integrate and apply a variety of its advanced materials technologies in a layered component-level defense. The integrated system will protect the component from tampering, safely and non-energetically destroy it if that initial defense is breached, and simultaneously protect adjacent components from collateral damage when the diffusion mechanism activates.
