Abstract
BTech Acoustics proposes the development of a detailed Cylindrical Transducers User Toolkit for the design of underwater acoustic transducers and sonar systems employing cylindrical transducers and relaxor piezoelectric single crystals. The Cylindrical Transducer User Toolkit (CT-Toolkit) will allow a detailed, accurate and user-friendly method to provide the acoustic performance for cylindrical transducers. The toolkit enables the exploration of the design space and associated tradeoffs afforded by new transducer and materials developments.
