Abstract

This SBIR proposal consists of three (3) related research efforts. Research effort 1 will focus on further development of the configurable running gear / shape shifting track concept as started by ASI during the Phase I award. Research effort 2 will focus on the development and completion of the hardware and electronics systems of the T4 robot as started at the Center for Self Organizing and Intelligent Systems (CSOIS) at Utah State University. Research effort 3 will focus on adding autonomous and cooperative behaviors to these robots to allow them to work together in performing a common task.
