Abstract

This Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) proposal focuses on the development of a complete lab-on-chip analysis system based on open channel capillary chromatography, to provide rapid, real-time identification and quantitation of production process components, using an alternative to solvent gradient elution. The proposed system will be based on modular microfluidic technology that will allow samples to be extracted from process scale streams for analysis.
